As the Operations Manager you can look forward to:
- Managing daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the organization.
- Monitor workflow and processes, adjusting as needed to optimize performance.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to our guest and homeowners
- Ensure rental properties are in excellent condition for guest and owner arrivals by maintaining daily inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of units.
- Resolve guest and owner issues through creative thinking, communication, research, and punctual follow-up.
- Supervise and lead operational staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
- Setting performance goals and objectives for staff, providing guidance and support to achieve the goals.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote team collaboration.
- Daily participation in the office setting to ensure the operation of the company runs smoothly, efficiently, and that all guests are satisfied
- Analyze current operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with the General Manager to implement and maintain best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Develop and execute plants to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Assist the General Manager in the management of operational budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:
- Experience in the vacation rental industry in an operations management or a similar role.
- Strong computer skills and proficient in Word and Excel
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Experience within the field preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Licensed Property Manager or the ability to obtain NC Real Estate license within 6 months of employment
Physical Requirements:
- Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
- Exert 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
