Overview

This position will work out of OVG’s office located in Austin and will sit on the Partnership Activation team within OVG Global Partnerships; the sponsorship and activation arm of Oak View Group (OVG). This role is suitable for an exceptionally organized and detail-oriented professional with a desire to collaborate on the delivery and execution of high-value sponsorship deals. This individual must be solution-oriented and have a client-first mentality. The Partnership Services Coordinator will be responsible for supporting contractually obligated income (COI) of assigned partnership accounts, the execution of assigned account assets, support of overall departmental needs such as onboarding and recapping processes for partners.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $24.00-$26.00.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of a portfolio of partnership contractual elements, including traditional media assets, promotions, in-arena activation, hospitality, experiential, and community programs  
  • Execute a thorough onboarding and partnership launch process, communicate team and brand expectations, communicating timelines across entities, and ensuring fulfillment of all contractual assets 
  • Work closely with internal departments (operations, marketing, etc.) on overall partner needs and asset fulfillment
  • Track and report proof of performance for partnership assets to generate impactful mid-year and end-year partnership recaps to exhibit ROI to partners
  • Develop and maintain partner recap template and content, as well as process to keep internal resources organized
  • Maintain accurate reporting processes, partnership trackers, and partner database management for all partner assets
  • Create case studies of highly successful activations for reference internally and externally
  • Support planning and execution of partner engagement events and gifting initiatives
  • Responsible for contributing to overall department revenue goals through current sponsor partnership renewals and upsell opportunities 
  • Collaboration with Sales Team in creating decks and presentations for new business/upselling purposes
  • Heavily assist in preparation and execution of all partner activities on Moody Center event days
  • Other duties as assigned  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, sports business management, communication, other relevant field or a combination of related education and work experience
  • 1-2 years professional sponsorship experience in a high-performance sponsorship environment, executing against multiple deals across multiple properties (likely Agency or alternative sports & entertainment entity/rights holder)
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand brands/partners’ business models and identify creative solutions for how to solve for indicated KPI’s
  • Strategic and critical thinker who is dynamic, forward-thinking, analytical, and extremely well organized
  • Highly driven self-starter, with the ability to work as a team or independently on projects
  • Strong self-awareness, time management, and organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
  • Positive attitude with the ability to manage long-term projects as well as quick turn assignments
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentational communication with strong attention to detail and design
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience (Photoshop, InDesign preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal & relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to work the hours required to fulfill the commitments of the role
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of nights, weekends, and holidays required
