Canterbury Place, a leading provider of Senior Living, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will play a key role in driving our human resources strategy, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the human resources function, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support the organization's goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Manage a team of HR professionals and provide them with coaching and development opportunities.
- Stay abreast of current HR trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a progressive HR leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing HR strategy.
- Strong understanding of employment law and compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
