Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient service and support within our Audiology practice. The ideal candidate will posses patience and understanding while dealing with seniors and hearing impaired individuals. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a moderately paced environment.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for healthcare providers.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with coding as needed.
- Support healthcare providers with administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall patient experience.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and pediatrics is preferred.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of physiology knowledge relevant to patient care.
- Experience in providing high-quality patient service in a healthcare setting.
