Description
The HR Intern will quickly become an integral part of the Team by taking on a variety of HR tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The HR Intern will directly assist with a wide range of projects, including recruiting, on-boarding/orientation and employee engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform general HR administrative functions (file management, benefits administration)
- Help prepare documents using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Provide assistance and support to the recruitment process; reviewing resumes and job descriptions, posting job ads, helping to schedule interviews and create interview guides, sending applicant correspondence
- May help develop recruitment materials
- Support the onboarding and new hire process; send offer letters, create new hire packets
- Assist in off-boarding efforts through exit interviews and record updates
- Assist with planning and executing teammate events
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and resume databases
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program focused in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Physical Requirements
- Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer
