What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Power BI Analyst position at Oakridge Staffing?
Oakridge has been engaged to identify Senior Data Analyst using Power BI for an expanding consumer products form that is building out there reporting infrastructure.
The Senior Data Analyst/Power BI Developer will be responsible for the following:
- Strong experience in Data analysis, Data mining with large data sets of Structured and Unstructured data, Data Acquisition, Data Validation, Predictive modeling, Statistical modeling, Data modeling, and Data Visualization.
- Engage directly with the business teams to design and develop impactful, dynamic, and insightful business intelligence visualizations, dashboards, and other analytic tools
- Present results from large and/or complex data sets in a coherent and clear format, tailored for the audience as appropriate.
- Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for data visualization and computing platforms and act as a liaison between software engineering teams and business stakeholders
- Provide support to users in training and education on available data tools
- Evaluate current data analytics strategies and work with team in developing recommendations and improvements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Must have extensive POWER BI experience (creating reports & dashboards)
- Proven track record and enthusiasm for complex problem solving and data analysis, including working with large data sets.
- Automate/Build deployment and data pipelines using an Azure DevOps and technical stack like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks and etc.
