What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Coordinator - LTE position at Oakwood Brand?
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (not meant to be an all inclusive list)
- Conducts regulatory research and reporting on code-related requirements for emergency operations, security, and best practices for senior living communities – including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospice, home health, etc.
- Completes inventory and assessment of current Oakwood Village emergency and security policy and procedures.
- Aligns Oakwood Village policy and procedures with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Audits existing Oakwood Village physical systems.
- Makes recommendations for aligning Oakwood Village physical systems and operations with regulatory requirements and best practices; implement approved recommendations.
- Audits existing Oakwood Village emergency planning and security training, education, and reference documents.
- Develops and implements training, educational, and reference documents – both for staff members and residents.
- Creates in-person and online learning content, speaker notes and certification quiz for mandatory trainings.
- Establishes parameters for annual reviews and ongoing training.
- Reports out progress on pre determine goals and company safety metrics.
- Completes other emergency operations and security work, as required.
