What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Internship position at Oakwood Village?
Oakwood Pharmacy interns will support the administrative and project-management activities of the department. These include the implementation of new procedures, protocols, and systems, , management of project roll-out throughout the organization, if applicable, and interdepartmental communication to ensure successful implementation as necessary.

- Understands general attributes of a long-term care pharmacy and be able to assess areas for improvement, development, and growth. .
- Participates in continuous performance improvement and regulatory monitoring and monitors processes and projects to ensure safe medication packaging and administration..
- Participates in the day-to-day operations of a long-term care pharmacy and engage in activities of pharmacy practice as directed and overseen by the Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacists.
- Studying pharmacy or related field preferred.
- Entering 2nd or 3rd year of pharmacy education.
