We are looking for a hands-on and detail-focused Electrical Engineer or Tech to join our Engineering team. This role is responsible for the design, development, and support of electrical control panels, communication systems, and sensor-based technologies used in automated car wash equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs, sensors, ultrasonics, and industrial control systems, and thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for automated car wash equipment, including control panels, sensors, communication systems, and component layout.
- Program, troubleshoot, and support PLC-based control systems.
- Integrate and support a variety of sensor technologies including photoeyes, proximity sensors, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, and documentation to support installation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Production, and Service teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical components.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of new electrical designs and system improvements.
- Support production with technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay current with emerging technologies related to automation, industrial networking, and safety systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or have equivalent work experience in a related field (required).
- 3 years of experience in electrical design and controls, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
- Strong understanding of sensor technologies, low-voltage control systems, and panel building practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
