Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew of landscape laborers and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Read and interpret landscape blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Install hardscapes, softscapes, and other landscape features.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and various power tools.
- Manage workflow, scheduling, and on-site problem-solving to meet project deadlines.
- Train and mentor crew members to ensure a productive and safe work environment.
- Maintain communication with clients, project managers, and team members.
- Ensure job site safety by following OSHA and company safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience in landscape construction (residential or commercial).
- Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred, but strong crew members ready to step up will be considered.
- Ability to read and work from landscape blueprints.
- Hands-on knowledge of hardscapes, planting, irrigation, grading, and equipment operation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different projects and conditions.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to excellence.
- A degree in horticulture is a plus
- Wisconsin Cat 3.0 certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license is required.
