What are the responsibilities and job description for the OBW Food and Beverage Cashier position at Ocean Breeze Waterpark?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive payment by cash, credit cards, Ez Pay or vouchers
- Proper handling, storage and organization of all receipts and vouchers
- Upselling products to offer the best experience at park
- Good cash handling skills so that the transaction can be fast, friendly, and fun
- Maintain product levels at assigned station; this may include chips, straws, condiments, cutlery, and napkins.
- Prepare quick service food items and beverages
- Assist with catering events, including setup, serving food and cleanup
- Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines
- Follow opening & closing procedures in assigned outlet to maintain cleanliness standards
- Expedite prepared orders from the kitchen to the customer
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other team members
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite, enthusiastic and expedient manner
- Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to count money and make change
- Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in indoor and shaded outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move and/ or position items weighing up to 55 pounds
