What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPP/MyPACE Instructor position at Odle Management Group LLC?
Job Function: Performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instruction in designated subject areas. Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to insure maximum student motivation.
• Meets SMART Goals established by management every Program Year.
• Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to insure maximum learning.
• Establishes a high degree of student/instructor rapport.
• Utilizes all possible curriculum resources.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
$1,250 sign on bonus available. If an candidate is selected for a position in which the sign-on bonus applies, 50% of the Sign-On Bonus will be paid on the new employee’s first paycheck and the remaining 50% will be paid after successful completion of the employee’s introductory period (on the paycheck following 6 months of employment). An employee who leaves the company in less than a year, will repay the prorated amount of the sign-on bonus received, based on his/her time on the job.
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education with a major in English, Social Studies or related field. State teacher certification is required. Prefer one year in a teaching capacity with disadvantaged youth. Valid State driver’s license in the state of employment with acceptable driving record.
