Odyssey Group LLC is a growing event & construction supply company, and we are looking for great people to help us exceed our goals!
We are currently seeking Company Drivers to join our team. We primarily work in the suburbs of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. This is a day-cab driver position which will allow you to be home each evening.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive company trucks (roll-off, flatbed, or service trucks) to transport dumpsters, barricades, scissor lifts, containers or portable restrooms to and from job sites.
- Pickup & Delivery: Deliver and retrieve company rental equipment based on scheduled customer requests.
- Proper Placement: Ensure company assist are placed safely and securely at designated locations per customer requirements.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as washing and stocking supplies when necessary.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, addressing any placement concerns or service needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and service logs using electronic or paper-based systems.
- Adherence to Regulations: Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Emergency Response: Respond to urgent service requests from our clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid CDL (A, B, or C w/ airbrake endorsement) and a clean driving record
- Ability to operate roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, or service vehicles
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and local road laws
- Basic mechanical skills for minor truck maintenance
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment as needed
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
