What you’ll be doing:
- Creating internal customer profiles in CargoWise to provide all departments with detailed customer information when needed.
- Using best judgment and knowledge to assist customers in making the most suitable choice for their needs.
- Providing quotes to customers when required.
- Coordinating with customers and other departments to ensure the smooth movement of freight by providing tracking information and shipment updates to customers.
- Communicating with customers by phone or email to build excellent customer relationships to in order to provide great customer service.
- Handling any special requests from our customers.
- Sending new shipment bookings to customers.
- Validating and confirming all ocean/air shipment bookings from origin to destination, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Managing daily emails/phone calls from customers and other offices/departments pertaining to respective accounts.
- Directing customer questions/concerns to the correct department as needed.
Who you are:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in international business or equivalent experience
- Around one year of experience in an administrative/clerical type role
- You possess knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Your strengths are prioritizing, working in a fast-paced environment, being customer-oriented and having a good sense of urgency
- Advanced English level is a must
