Position Overview
We’re looking for a motivated, self-driven, and organized employee to join our team. This multifaceted role combines responsibilities in managing the showroom and supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to interact with customers and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Coordination:
- Greet and assist showroom customers, ensuring they have an exceptional experience.
- Provide product demonstrations and help clients select the best products for their needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom, ensuring it reflects the company's standards.
- Assist with showroom displays, ensuring products are visually appealing and properly setup.
Warehouse Operations:
- Unload trucks and verify received quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect items for damage or defects.
- Identify and read vendor packing slips, carrier shipping documents, UPC labels, and other receiving documents.
- Work closely with installers to provide proper documentation to deliver customer products and assist with locating items on tickets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or college education a plus.
- Previous experience in showroom, warehouse, or retail environments preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to warehouse duties.
- Experience with visual merchandising or showroom setup.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
