What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler 1st and 2nd Shifts position at OFI (Previously Gel Spice, Inc)?
WALK IN WELCOME!!! Monday thru Thursday from 9am until 4pm
OFI a leading importer and manufacturer of Spices, Herbs and Seasonings located in Bayonne, NJ is currently hiring for Material Handlers in our factory. FT Permanent position, Union environment.
- Responsible for packing the finished product in cases/ boxes after product has been determined to be in perfect conditions.
- Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to supervisor.
- Responsible for supplying products, jars, and caps to assigned production line.
- Keep all work area in compliance with housekeeping guidelines and free of any object that might contaminate product.
- Complete all required documentation.
- Report any food safety and food quality related issues to supervisor immediately.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
- Required to lift at least 20 lbs. with / without assistance
1ST SHIFT AVAILABLE: 7pm – 5:30pm - M-TH / 7pm - 330pm - FRI
2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE: 5pm – 3:30am - M-TH / 3pm - 11:30pm - FRI
$1.00 2ND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
