Who We Are Looking For
In the Office of Pavement Engineering, assists staff by using a computer, conducting literature research & collecting, processing & analyzing data contained within enterprise databases (e.g., Pavement Management System) related to core Office functions. Travels as needed to collection sites in order to assist office staff with data collection. Assists in pavement-related field work (e.g., coring operations, dynamic cone penetration testing, pavement condition assessments).
Uses computer & related software (e.g., MS Office Word, Excel, Access, & Power Point) to prepare preliminary reports. Assists with beta testing of newly developed or acquired software. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
This Position is Unclassified per Section 124.11(A)(29)
The rate of pay is based upon the student's academic status
Freshman and Sophomore students - $19.50 per hour
Junior and Senior Students - $20.00 per hour
Graduate Students - $24.00 per hour
Must be enrolled in college, university, or graduate school, and in good academic standing.
