Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to assigned business units, aligning HR initiatives with business goals. This role involves providing guidance and support on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and performance management, to drive organizational success.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Partnership:
    • Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their goals and challenges, and provide HR strategies to support business objectives.
    • Act as a trusted advisor on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  2. Workforce Planning:
    • Assist in the development and execution of workforce planning initiatives, including talent acquisition needs analysis, retention, and succession planning.
    • Analyze workforce data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
  3. Employee Relations:
    • Address employee relations issues by providing guidance, conducting investigations, and ensuring fair resolution.
    • Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication and addressing workplace concerns proactively.
  4. Performance Management:
    • Support the implementation and management of the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
    • Coach managers on handling performance-related issues and improving team dynamics.
  5. Talent Management and Development:
    • Collaborate with Learning and Development teams to identify training needs and support employee development programs.
    • Facilitate career development discussions and assist in creating development plans for employees.
  6. Change Management:
    • Support business units during organizational changes by developing and implementing change management strategies.
    • Assist in communicating changes to employees and ensuring smooth transitions.
  7. HR Metrics and Reporting:
    • Utilize HR metrics to analyze trends, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making.
    • Prepare and present HR reports to leadership on various aspects such as employee engagement, retention, and workforce analytics.   
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in an HR role, with at least 2 years as an HR Business Partner or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR.
  • Proven track record of successful change management and organizational development initiatives.
