Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and special requests
- Take reservations over the phone and through online platforms
- Manage waitlists and ensure timely seating of guests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and guest services
- Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Understanding of restaurant or food service operations is beneficial
- Experience in a hotel or guest relations is an advantage
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
