This position will be in a professional office environment and play a key role in supporting operations and accounting. We focus on quality, efficiency, maintaining a high level of integrity and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This position requires strong communication skills, a strong comfort level with spreadsheets (pivot tables, sorting, filtering, formulas, etc), and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. A full time salaried position may be considered for an exceptionally qualified applicant.

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact, with exceptional phone and email etiquette when interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Data Entry & Data Management, including: entry of delivery tickets into tracking spreadsheet.
  • Maintain a list of current jobs, updating as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve any questions or issues with delivery tickets.
  • Check bills for accuracy and approval and enter into QuickBooks.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for both physical and electronic documents, with attention to DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Google Sheets (or Excel) and QuickBooks.

- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
