What are the responsibilities and job description for the Club Server position at OLD EDWARDS CLUB?
The Old Edwards Club has a restaurant featuring casually elegant farm-to-table food and has sweeping, open-air views of a Tom Jackson-designed golf course. Club members and guests of Old Edwards Hospitality properties have access to the clubhouse to enjoy lunch, dinner and special events throughout the season. Old Edwards club is seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to be the key component to elevating our Members and Guests dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure our Members and Guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages to guests and exceed the expectations of each Member and Guest
- Perform duties and services according to the standards of Old Edwards Club
- Ensure tables are set properly prior to seating guests
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Have the ability to explain in detail any specials or menu items to guests
- Ensure restaurant and work areas are kept clean
- Take orders and input them correctly into the POS system
- Retrieve orders from the kitchen and accurately deliver them to the guests
- Ascertain the guests satisfaction throughout the dining experience and take necessary steps based on the feedback
- Be familiar with hours of operations resort wide
- Be familiar with and promote Club specials and upcoming events
- Set up, execute and break down any special events, as scheduled
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Clubhouse Manager
- Previous experience in and knowledge of food and beverage operations is desired.
- Excellent communication and guest relation skills in English.
- The ability to work well with a large group of people in a team environment.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by guests.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.
