Description
Summary Maintain park grounds. Build and repair park furnishings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Baseball field maintenance.
Assist with event setup/take down.
Park shelters and community center trash pickup
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Driver's License
Other Skills and Abilities
Able to tow small trailers loaded with equipment, behind a pick-p truck
Other Requirements
May occasionally be required to work on weekends.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee s required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to traverse difficult terrain.
Work Environment
While performing the duties employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
