The Position
As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of financial planning, actuals, closing, and reporting activities for assigned reporting units. You will act as a key stakeholder and service receiver for financial actuals and closing services provided by the Financial Shared Services Center (FSSC).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Finance Business Partner.
- Act as the direct liaison to budget holders, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Utilize analytical skills to translate financial data into valuable insights for financial planning, actuals, and reporting activities, using the latest digital tools.
- Oversee balance sheet management and reconciliation for assigned entities.
- Ensure agreed-upon financial services from the FSSC are delivered to the highest standards.
- Support Management Reporting, including Monthly Reporting Decks for Forecast / Actuals and Cash Flow.
- Manage product costing, variance analysis, manufacturing performance, inventory management, and CAPEX.
- Conduct first-line analyses and provide insights for actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
- Set up relevant allocation cycles in SAP.
- Provide all necessary content for Journal Entries to the shared service center.
