We’re currently looking for an Enrolled Agent – IRS Collections to join our team. The Enrolled Agent – IRS Collections will proactively reach out to taxpayers facing liens, levies, or other collection actions, explain our services, and negotiate favorable resolutions with the IRS. This role requires excellent communication skills, tax expertise, and the ability to provide compassionate yet results-driven service. The Enrolled Agent – IRS Collections will also assist with any additional requests that may arise. Please note: This position is fully on-site.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Contact clients who are dealing with IRS collections, including tax liens, levies, and wage garnishments
- Assess clients’ financial situations and determine the best resolution strategy
- Explain our tax resolution services and guide clients through the process
- Communicate with the IRS on behalf of clients, including submitting Offers in Compromise, Installment Agreements, Currently Not Collectible (CNC) status requests, and Penalty Abatements
- Stay up to date with IRS tax codes, collection procedures, and resolution strategies
- Maintain detailed client records and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Work closely with our internal team to deliver outstanding customer service and successful case resolutions

- Diplomatic and tactful when handling sensitive client interactions

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be an Enrolled Agent (EA) with active status
- Experience in IRS collections and tax resolution is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IRS tax codes, tax debt resolution options, and negotiation tactics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters in simple terms
- Sales or client outreach experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively
- Proficiency in tax software and CRM tools
