JOB SUMMARY :
Under direct supervisor of the Office Manager this role is responsible for the admin / clerical duties to assist with this cardiology office running efficiently. There are 68 Providers at this office. Its very busy and high volume. This Admin Asst must be able to keep their composure during high volume times assisting with office procedure scheduling. This is a back office role assisting in a call center environment.
Calls will be monitored and routed based on patient service needs. Follow up with patients via phone if they have questions helping to get patients to the right service line if procedures need to get scheduled etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :
JOB REQUIREMENTS : At least a High School Diploma At least 2 years of procedure scheduling experience from a medical office environment is required and must be visible on resume, preferably experience in Cardiology. Epic experience is required. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience from a healthcare environment, working with procedure scheduling This is a back office position doing scheduling. Inbound and outbound calls. Scheduling duties include communicating procedure prep to patients, directing questions to nurses and Providers in the practice, communicating and sending procedure information, scheduling consults, rescheduling appointments, and updating patient records.
