This position will provide planning support for the manufacture of build to spec parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
• Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
• Interprets customer specifications and applies to production planning
• Develops production job templates for use by others.
• Develops and documents new job practices, techniques and standards.
• Works under minimal direction.
• Ability to work with existing and develop new suppliers and processes.
• A technical background to understand and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Is proficient with General Dimensioning and Tolerance standards.
• Capable to prepare plan labor & material to meet production schedules and cost targets.
• Experience using an MRP or ERP system (example: JobBOSS)
• Knowledge and understanding of technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Ability to multitask in a rapidly growing organization
• Having the ability to draft check drawings with Catia is required
• Accurately create initial Bill of Material from drawings and engineering documents provided from the customer
Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understand and has experience with planning mechanical assemblies.
• Experience using Catia V5 programming software
• Experience engineering for 3, 4, and 5 axis Mills and tool design
• Understands common materials and processes for machine shops
• Technical background to understand mechanical assemblies
• Ability to multi-task in rapidly growing organization
• Willing to accept direction and supervision from Engineering Manager
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
