Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking a HR Generalist to join our outstanding Associate Services team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to ensure successful execution of all operations relating to the department, resulting in high levels of associate satisfaction. This position will be the welcoming face of the Human Resources office also known as the Associate Services Center. This individual will run the daily functions of the Human Resources department including onboarding staff, administrative tasks and assisting associates while promoting the Omni Culture.
We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have experience in a hotel (or similar) environment, we would love to speak with you about this role.
Salary range for this position (based on experience): $28.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Assists in screening of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire onboarding and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputers and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with company, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Maintain updated and creative bulletin boards and communication.
- Participate in delivering meaningful associate events (i.e., galas, rallies, meetings, volunteer events, community service).
- Ensure active associate recognition programs.
- Performs administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

- Highly motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, guest service, and teamwork.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in Human Resources.
