Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for business to business sales, with the ability to engage customers effectively and promote our services in the waste and recycling industry.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive understanding of construction industry (phases, materials, waste, etc.).
- Techniques for identifying and managing new business opportunities
- Techniques for identifying and responding to objections
- Managing business to business sales relationships.
- Developing detailed proposals encompassing multiple services.
- Researching aspects of the waste and environmental services business.
Requirements
- Generates new revenue by cold calling and prospecting (60%), while also retaining current customers by utilizing a consultative selling approach (40%).
- Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate professionally with customers.
- Manage prospects by developing sound marketing plans and maintaining key information in the prospect database.
- Ability to explain waste services effectively to engage potential customers.
- Effectively use Omni Waste sales productivity software tools (i.e customer leads and databases)
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Generates and provides sales leads for permanent sales opportunities in the market to capture additional revenue.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse customers.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
