Responsibilities
- Develop and implement UAT test cases, standards, and reporting
- Provide production support for dealer and vehicle data systems
- Manage change request requirements and project tracking
- Support integration with third-party vendors
- Work on fast-paced and highly variable operational & project tasks
- Solve problems using SOAP UI, Microsoft, and multi-system environments
- Participate in enhancement release meetings and testing
- Incorporate dealer feedback into planning efforts
- Collaborate with GM IT Managers, Dealer Business Solutions, and supporting teams
- Oversee and test data services for the Dealer Vendor Management Program (DVMP)
- Ensure business needs are met with IT project teams
- Participate in business validation of IT deployments
Required Experience
✔ 5 years of experience working with vehicle and dealer data systems
✔ 5 years of experience in the automotive OEM industry (dealership sales/ordering experience is a plus)
✔ Strong web-service experience
✔ Ability to analyze complex problems and provide solutions
✔ Strong technical and professional skills in related areas
✔ Team-oriented mindset with excellent relationship-building skills
✔ Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities efficiently
✔ Knowledge of testing requirements, project management, and IT processes
✔ Database query experience (Oracle and SOLR preferred)
Preferred Skills & Competencies
✅ Technical Writing: Attention to detail, analytical skills, interpersonal communication
✅ Product Expertise: Dealer management systems (DMS), vehicle ordering/consensus processes
✅ Familiarity with GM Products: Brands, divisions, and dealer network structure
✅ Project Management & Strategy: Communication, problem-solving, process management
✅ Technical Proficiency:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project
- Azure DevOps (ADO), Aha!, SharePoint
- SOAP UI – XML – JSON – SOAP
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
