As a Food Service Sales Representative your primary objective will be to grow the Food Service channel by prospecting new customers, identifying their unique water filtration needs and converting them to customers. This is an exciting role where you will be at the forefront of developing and winning new business and launching new filtration technology and solutions into the market
Responsibilities
- This is a hunter role, you will need to be mission focused as your priority will be to close new business by generating leads, qualifying sales opportunities and converting them to customers.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities at various stages within multiple geographies or industry-based territories.
- Collaborate with the Global Sales Director to develop and execute effective market development strategies aligned with Omnipure's overall sales vision.
- Develop deep relationships with US-based OEM’s (Residential, Food Service, & Light Industrial), & large restaurant/ C-Store chains/Franchises to achieve sales growth objectives.
- Leverage your industry expertise and current relationships to identify customer needs and develop customized filtration solutions.
- Partner with the product development team to specify new filtration products that meet the unique needs of the food service market.
- Prepare timely sales proposals and quotations in response to customer inquiries.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop sales and brand awareness materials targeted towards the food service industry.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to effectively manage the sales process and customer relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Residential, Food Service, & Light Industrial water treatment products, technologies, & customer needs
- CRM or Salesforce experience is a plus
- Understanding of channel dynamics, relationships within dealers, distributors and national accounts servicing the water filtration and treatment industry
- Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience with a focus on prospecting and new customer acquisition.
- Self-motivated and results oriented. Proven ability to grow sales through new customer acquisition.
- Demonstrated unwavering ethical character while managing challenging business deals.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, marketing) or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point or Access)
- Must be a self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a dedication to exceeding customer expectations.
- Frequent travel to meet with prospective customers, attend industry events and participate in regular sales team meetings.
