Sales Support Specialist

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Sales Support Specialist to join our roofing company. This is a support position requiring strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and a positive, outgoing, team-oriented, and professional work style. This position's main responsibilities will be to serve as the "go-to" resource for operational and administrative support to Sales team members.

Duties:

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of takeoffs.
• Verify cut lists with sales team and then convert to shop orders work with shop staff to coordinate completion
• Crosscheck cut lists with salesmen and convert them into shop orders.
• Confirm that the crew(s) have the correct cut lists.
• Handle building permit applications and coordinate inspections with input from salesmen.
• Arrange for portable toilet delivery/pickups.
• Coordinate dumpster delivery/pickups.
• Schedule crane/equipment delivery/pickups.
• Review material orders for accuracy with salesmen before submission to the purchasing department.
• Ensure salesmen have all necessary documentation for superintendents before scheduling job start date.
• Participate in the weekly schedule meeting with the sales team.
• Cultivate and sustain robust working connections with internal and external partners.
• Interact with all colleagues within the department in a competent and professional manner.
• Abide by all sales policies and guidelines set forth by the company. Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Strong communication communication and time management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of roofing codes, regulations, and manufacturer specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
• Budgeting skills to manage financial resources efficiently

Education and Other Requirements:

• 4year Civil Engineering or Contruction Management Degree (Required)
• Bilingual (Spanish & English REQUIRED)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
