Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in running patient samples within our clinical laboratory. This position requires a strong foundation in scientific principles, particularly in areas such as molecular biology and microbiology, along with experience in quality control and data collection. The Laboratory Technician will contribute to various projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and tests in accordance with established laboratory protocols.
- Assist in research development by preparing samples and conducting analyses.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the integrity of laboratory results.
- Collect, record, and analyze data from experiments and tests.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with team members on various scientific research projects.
- Document findings and prepare reports for review by senior staff.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications
1. Doctoral degree in clinical laboratory science, chemical, physical or
biological science; OR
2. Master's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical,
physical, or biological science; OR
3. Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical,
physical or biological
