Lab Technician

Position Overview

The Lab Technician will work in a laboratory to perform experiments and analyses, maintain equipment and support Chemists. Improve existing product range in relation to high performance properties and special customer needs.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities

· Testing polyurethane and epoxy formulations as required

· Testing of new raw materials to improve existing products

· Testing of physical and mechanical properties, creating test methods for special applications

· Creating lab reports and other necessary documentations

· Preparation of customer samples

· Maintain and clean lab equipment and working area within the laboratory

· Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Attention to detail and good organizational skills

· Understanding of how to use lab equipment

· PUR, Epoxy, Plastics and Polymers

· 2k Reactive resins

· Mechanical and physical testing

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s in chemistry, polymer science, or minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment
• Able to strictly follow instructions and procedures
