About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in woodworking, commercial casework, or cabinetry, specifically with HOMAG machines.
The ideal candidate will have successfully optimized plant layouts and process flows to increase operational efficiency.
They will be a strategic problem-solver who can enhance operational efficiency through technical expertise, team guidance, and process improvements.

Main Responsibilities:
- Optimize plant layout & process flow to reduce bottlenecks and improve efficiency
- Utilize data-driven analysis (e.g., provide high-level technical expertise on machine operations, troubleshooting, and optimization)
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve production efficiency
- Analyze and recommend machinery investments as the company scales operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams to drive process improvements
Requirements:
- Background in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and data analysis
- Experience in cabinetry, casework, or woodworking manufacturing
- Proficiency in OEE, downtime analysis, and process optimization tools
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving (50/50 split between strategy & floor work)
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with production and leadership teams
- Degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience)
Prior Experience:
- Familiarity with Amper (machine monitoring software) or similar tracking tools
- Experience with Creo/ProE, AutoCAD, or Cabinet Vision
- Exposure to WoodWOP (HOMAG software) or B-Suite (Biesse software)
- Experience in plant layout design and machine integration
- Lean Six Sigma certification
