One Knoxville SC is a USL League One professional soccer club dedicated to delivering an exciting matchday experience for our fans. For our 2025 season at Covenant Health Park, we are looking for enthusiastic and customer-friendly individuals to join our match day team as Ticket Scanners/Ticket Takers.
Job Summary
As a Ticket Scanner/Taker, you will be the first point of contact for fans attending our home matches. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient entry process while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude as they enter the stadium.
- Scan digital and physical tickets using provided ticketing equipment.
- Verify ticket validity and assist guests with any ticketing issues.
- Direct fans to the appropriate entrances and seating areas.
- Enforce stadium entry policies and procedures.
- Answer general questions about the stadium, seating, and event details.
- Work collaboratively with security, guest services, and stadium operations staff.
- Assist with crowd control and ensure a safe and orderly entry process.
- Report any issues, suspicious activity, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods & working in various weather conditions.
- Basic technology skills to operate ticket scanning equipment.
- Prior experience in customer service, event operations, or a similar role is a plus.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends based on the match schedule.
