Purpose
Operate various manufacturing equipment and perform quality inspections to ensure production meets established quality standards and customer requirements.
Scope of Responsibility
Operate manufacturing equipment, perform quality inspections, and maintain compliance with production and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to create parts or components.
- Work from written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain production pace as set by production requirements.
- Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures.
- Cross-train in various work centers to ensure operational flexibility.
- Conduct quality inspections of parts and components during and after production to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Identify and document defects or deviations and communicate findings to the appropriate team.
- Fill out necessary production and quality paperwork completely and accurately.
- Maintain and support IATF16949 standards, understanding the consequences of the product/process not meeting the standard or customer quality requirements.
Education/Background/Experience
- High School diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience, including exposure to quality inspection practices, is preferred.
- Familiarity with metric measurements and the ability to interpret basic production data for production and quality decision-making.
- Dependable and team-oriented individual with a high sense of responsibility.

Environmental Factors
