One Source is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Inventory Audit Specialist to join our growing team to manage and deliver effective audit solutions. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory audit processes, managing complex audits, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our IT inventory management system. This position involves leading audit teams, driving process improvements, and implementing best practices to optimize inventory management in alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the execution of regular and ad-hoc inventory audits for IT hardware, software, and accessories across multiple customer locations.
- Ensure thorough and accurate audit practices to identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights for management.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of audit reports, highlighting key findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to ensure proper inventory control and eliminate discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership, including audit results, recommendations, and action plans to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to streamline audit workflows, improve inventory tracking, and implement new technologies or tools that enhance inventory visibility.
- Work closely with Billing, Service Delivery/Assurance, Customer Success, IT teams to support business goals and ensure accurate inventory forecasting and replenishment.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on audit procedures, data analysis, and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure the team is up to date on new inventory management practices, technologies, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, auditing, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) or similar data analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data and findings clearly to senior management.
- Ability to lead and manage teams, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
