This position will be located at our Corporate Office: 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027

Summary

The People & Culture Intern will support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, learning and development, and organizational culture, while also contributing to talent acquisition efforts. This position provides hands-on experience in planning and executing engagement initiatives, developing training and educational materials, and supporting full-cycle recruitment activities. The intern will collaborate on projects to evaluate the impact of engagement programs and assist in aligning these efforts with the organization's strategic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Talent Acquisition:
  • Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing job postings.
  • Contribute to employment branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in job fairs and recruitment events.
Training Resource Development:
  • Assist in creating or updating training manuals, guides, or PowerPoint slides, ensuring content is relevant and up-to-date.
  • Review existing training materials and suggest improvements to make them more engaging (e.g., improving visuals, creating checklists, or making processes more intuitive).
Conducting Training:
  • Attend training sessions to observe and assist with activities such as setting up materials, managing logistics, or helping participants with questions.
  • Create quizzes or assessments to gauge learners' understanding of different topics, including multiple-choice questions, scenario-based evaluations, or practical exercises.
  • Design short interactive learning modules or video tutorials using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or other user-friendly eLearning software.
Internal Communication and Engagement:
  • Create a monthly or bi-weekly newsletter for employees, highlighting new training programs, upcoming events, success stories, and any new regulatory updates.
Organize Training Logistics:
  • Assist in coordinating logistics for training sessions, such as booking training rooms, scheduling instructors, managing attendance, and ensuring all necessary materials are available.

  • Junior or senior, majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, who are eager to explore the operational side of HR.
  • 3.0 GPA in major field of study
