Executive Director Hospice

We are seeking a skilled leader, Executive Director, preferably an RN. Come join one of the largest hospice companies in Southern Nevada. 1Care is looking for you.

Overview

• Management of the day-to-day operations for a Medicare/Medicaid certified office with over 350 ADC
• Management of operational staff members, scheduling, intake, and recruitment.
• Responsible for achieving growth targets through dynamic, solution-based problem solving.
• Create and promote a culture committed to the highest quality customer service.
• Promotes a safe and efficient working environment by adhering to agency policies and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of all agency and patient-related information.
• Organizes workload to complete responsibilities in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Manages all aspects of human resource department which include recruiting, hiring, firing, troubleshooting.
• Able to drive the clinical staff to clinical excellence.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years experience in home health or hospice administration or operations management preferred or similar.
• Experience with Pediatrics Preferred.
• Protects patient rights as defined in the Patient Bill of Rights.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, required in-services, audits, and agency performance improvement activities.
• Knowledge of Hospice service procedures and reimbursement policies preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric hospice, highly preferred.
• Public relations ability, interpersonal skill, professional telephone manner.
• Organized, flexible, attention to detail.
• Promotes a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or Masters preferred.
• RN License in Nevada
• Must be able to speak clearly, work in a fast-paced environment, and goal orientated.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Ability to Relocate:

• Las Vegas, NV 89120: Relocate before starting work (Required)
