Job Summary

As a Material Handler, you will be essential in managing the flow of goods throughout our production operation. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your core responsibilities will include shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Your proficiency in forklift operation and warehouse management systems will enhance efficiency in our operations. Additionally, your strong time management skills and basic math abilities will ensure timely processing of orders. Job Requirements

  • Move items between floors into appropriate areas based on kanban
  • Lift, push, pull, grab, slide or pack items up to 10’ long up to 50 lbs.
  • Move and pack items exceeding 50 lbs. with assistance
  • Prepare and move into place parts for shipping to powder coat
  • Stock finished parts into appropriate slots in stock based on part numbers
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts & assist with inventory record keeping
  • Assist shippers in packaging products to be sent to customers
  • Use computers and other technology to complete work tasks

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to all levels in and outside the company; able to express information and ideas in a professional manner so that others will understand.
  • Ability to perform work assignments as directed.
  • Skill to use time management techniques in personal daily tasks.
  • Ability to use general math skills in conducting daily business.
  • Able to move pallets up to 10’ safely with pallet jacks and motorized pallet jacks.
  • Ability to safely use a forklift or ability to learn how to safely use a forklift.
  • Computer literacy in a professional setting (email, documents, systems, etc.)

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
