Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment. We also specialize in treatment of coagulation blood disorders, leukemias and other hematologic benign conditions. Job Description :
- Patient Advocacy and Support :
Serve as a point of contact for patients to address concerns, questions, and issues related to their care.
Facilitate clear and effective communication between patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring patient preferences and concerns are communicated.
Provide patients and their families with educational materials about their conditions, treatments, and healthcare resources.
Address and resolve patient complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and help resolve any billing or insurance-related issues.
Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical practices, including HIPAA compliance and informed consent.
