Our client is a highly successful privately held firm that specializes in manufacturing, installing & servicing electronic switchgear, DPS, automation and control/monitoring systems for marine applications. As a result of aspirations to scale the company, there is an immediate appetite to add a Sales Manager to conduct outside sales & new business development & supervise 3 account managers.
Key Qualifications Include:
-Bachelor's Degree preferred
-5-10 years in field sales in marine electronics or certain oilfield services
-Passionate about sales & working closely with existing & prospective customers
-Self-directed, high energy, business acumen, determined over achiever
-Experience in strategic selling, understands value chain, exceeding client expectations
-Proven ability to relate to customer reps and earn additional business through performance & excellent rapport/customer relationships
Other Pertinent Details Include:
-Excellent compensation/benefits offered including professional growth
-Account Management and New Business Development targeting new and retrofit, OSV, PSV, and Dredging Dynamic Positioning (DP). Also, passenger vessel Automated Docking Systems (ADS) projects.
-Capital equipment sales included Dynamic Positioning, Automation, Steering and satellite communications systems. Direct responsibility for approximately eighty accounts.
-Interface with shipyard, vessel and customer project engineering to streamline equipment installation schedule.
-Organizational call points included C-Level, owners, purchasing and operations.
