Onin Staffing is looking for an Office Administrator for a fertilizer company in Halifax, NC. This person will assist in operating the main office, providing exceptional customer service to all vendors and patrons. Duties include customer service, public relations, general office operations, and some accounting. This position will report to the Plant Manager.
This is a 1st shift position.
This position will not be a temp-to-hire position. You would be hired on direct with the company once an offer of employment is extended and accepted.

Work Experience
Responsibilities
• Provides outstanding, friendly customer service to all customers over the phone and in person. Secretarial duties involved filing, organizing, and ordering supplies for office.
• Reconciles Daily Invoices for DCRS by running report, located invoices, Makes DCRS for Cash, Credit & Check. Processes them and sends all backups to Debbie Cowan & Robert Jackson
• Handles A/P Expense Accounts for Location-Making sure they have backups and signatures if needed to process. Sent backup with vouchers to Paige.
• Keep Records of Equipment and Invoices so we know the expenses involved.
• Generate POs for Animal Health, Bulk Feed and Hardware, orders stock for these and receives product in with stock addition. Stays in communication with suppliers for best deals. Sends Backups to Becky for payment.
• Works with Excel to keep records of Petty Cash Fund, Fuel reports, reimbursement reports.
• Helps Customers with questions on Accounts. Ability to apply invoices to John Deere Accounts when necessary.
• Assistant with any overflow of work or customers when needed.
• Assist with Inventory Counts and finds ways of eliminating negative variances when needed.

• Looking for Possible Solutions- Generate solutions for issue. Only a planning stage.
• Making a Decision- careful analysis of the different possible courses of action and then selecting the best solution for implementation.
• Implementation- accepting and carrying out the chosen course of action.
Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have minimum 2-year experience in administrative/receptionist field.
• Must have knowledge of basic Microsoft software including Excel, Word
• Must possess excellent administrative skills, customer service skills, and the ability to act as an ambassador to the community.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, visitors, customers, and vendors.
• Must be an excellent communicator orally and in writing.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently, yet remain a member of a team.
• Organized, efficient, creative, and capable of implementing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to understand company policies
• Ability to learn how to work between two desktops and learn new software if needed.
