What you'll do as: Production Stager
- Utilize a measuring tape and other tools to ensure materials and components are accurately sized and ready for welding.
- Organize raw materials, components, and hardware for easy access.
- Inspect parts for quality and ensure they meet specifications.
- Coordinate with welding team to ensure smooth material flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized production area and follow safety standards.
- Assist with unloading, storing, and organizing incoming materials.
- Report inventory shortages or issues to the supervisor.
- Mark and prepare staged materials for the next production phase.
Work Experience
The preferred candidate might have:
- Must know how to read a measuring tape, and pass the test prior to the interview.
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a production or warehouse setting.
- Strong background in order pulling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment.
- Proficient in using handheld scanners for inventory tracking and order management.
- Exceptional customer service experience, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing 50-70 pounds on a regular basis.
