Job Overview
The Community Liaison interacts with the local community on behalf of the Company. Responsible for the company’s business development across all eligible groups such as medical and healthcare facilities, community organizations, state, and other similar institutions. This position is responsible for fostering relationships, promoting programs, and ensuring that community needs are met effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for social work, with a focus on addiction counseling and program development.
Duties:
Generating business from assigned territory referral sources to meet agency revenue and census goals
Carries out other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors
Build and strengthen business relationships within the community.
Works with internal clinical and administrative team to ensure growth opportunities and achieve goals.
Identifies new referral sources by utilizing available organizational resources and his/her community contacts.
Works with administrative team to implement and evaluate territory marketing plans.
Develops and maintains workings relationships with physicians, nurses, social workers, and others within the community. Create and build client relationships and locate new opportunities, by visiting existing and new customers
Meets monthly goal for number of admissions
Act as intermediary to facilitate a smooth transition of patient with Commercial insurances from hospital to our Agency.
Reviews medical documentation, working with physicians to make clinical judgments, and coordinating care with the nursing and admissions department.
Works side by side with admission coordinator to process referrals in timely manner.
Establishes a public relations program for interpretation of the agency’s services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state and federal laws relating to marketing of the Agency.
Maintain industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; and establishing networks
Collaboratively develops and maintains policies specific to new programs.
Assists in direction of programs through collaboration with and delegation of responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel.
Qualifications:
College graduate Preferred.
Current Driver License
Preferred experience in the health care area.
Ability to establish and maintain professional and effective relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay and professional public, the Board of Directors, Agency’s Business Associates, third party payors, and Medical Director, as appropriate. Ability to develop effective training programs on emergency preparedness and response. Bilingual is a plus

Pay: $67,670.00 - $73,594.00 per year
