Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including surveillance, alarm systems, audiovisual and field service. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics, ensuring that installations and repairs are completed efficiently and effectively. Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including surveillance cameras, audio, lighting control, and access control systems.
  • Read and to ensure accurate installation of wiring and equipment.
  • Pull cable for new construction projects and retrofits.
  • Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.
  • Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns professionally.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role related to low voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with lighting, audio, networking, video programming is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with hand tools effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
