Position Overview
The Field Manager is a key operations leader responsible for coordinating all on-site project activities and fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, general contractors, and internal teams. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this individual will ensure each job is delivered safely on time, within budget, and with consistent communication between field and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee daily on-site project operations, ensuring safety quality, schedule adherence
· Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, subcontractors, general contractors and superintendents
· Serve as the primary field contact to Project Managers, providing daily updates and flagging issues proactively
· Review and interpret architectural blueprints and structural drawings with a high level of technical understanding
· Work closely with PM to manage project-specific material inventory to ensure subcontractors remain productive while minimizing excess waste.
· Monitor and maintain project timelines and milestones, identifying and resolving issues promptly
· Ensure adherence to safety procedures and corporate standards at all jobsites
· Offer on-site leadership and guidance to foster a culture of accountability and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
· Minimum 7 years of commercial construction experience
· OSHA 30 Certification is a bonus, but will certify the right candidate
· Strong command of architectural blueprint reading, structural design principles, and field coordination
· Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate with cross-functional teams and subcontractors
· Proven success overseeing multiple active job sites
· Clean Class C Driver’s License
