Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide catheter care and support with personal hygiene needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs as required, ensuring any changes are reported to healthcare professionals.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a nurturing environment.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the client’s living space.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in clinics or hospitals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Document care provided and any observations regarding the client's condition or behavior.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices, particularly in geriatrics and behavioral health settings.
- Experience with catheter care and understanding of related medical needs.
- Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and report findings effectively.
- Familiarity with working in hospitals, nursing homes, or similar environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various healthcare settings such as PICU or clinics.
