Job Description : We are looking for a positive, energetic Tax Administrative Assistant to support building and maintaining a service-oriented and dependable reputation with current and future clients. Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax processes and will be self-motivated and detail oriented, with great time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while still managing the day-to-day tasks needed to support our clients.
Job Responsibilities include :
tDetermining tax liability or collecting taxes from individuals or business firms.
tPreparing tax organizers and engagement letters.
tPreparing and reviewing tax returns.
tProviding administrative support.
tEnsure filing deadlines are understood and met.
tSupervise the collection of taxes, fees and assessments.
tMaintain records and files.
tPrepare reports.
tAnswer and direct phone calls.
tMaintain contact lists.
tProduce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
tAssist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
Key Qualifications for Success in this Role :
tSolid understanding of tax processes and regulations (1 year experience preferred)
tCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
tVerbal and written communication skills.
tStrong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
tImpeccable multi-tasking abilities.
tPrior administrative experience.
