Summary
Responsible for creating policy and managing the general operations of Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) homes or Community Living Facility (CLF). Responsible for training and maintaining the stability of staff in the group home and maintaining the safety of all clients inside of the group home.
Essential Functions
· Attendance is required.
· Manage CILAs or CLF without immediate direction or supervision.
· Ensure the health and safety of staff and clients by developing and implementing emergency, safety, and infection control plans; and conducting regular safety inspections.
· Comply with and enforce applicable licensing and regulatory requirements, laws, accreditation standards, and OH policy and procedures.
· Cooperate with clients, parents/guardians, co-workers, community agencies, and other departments.
· Monitor Relias training and completion of OJT competencies.
· Determine departmental needs for staff, equipment, and supplies and ensure proper maintenance of client rooms, buildings, grounds, and vehicles.
· Review and manage departmental spending, and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
· Advocate and protect clients’ health, safety, and financial well-being; ensure clients receive all services and benefits to which they are entitled.
· Implement behavior intervention techniques.
· Responsible for managing scheduling issues and other emergencies that require a house manager.
· Participate in on-call weekend rotation, including selecting two holidays a year.
· Maintain timely and accurate records.
· Maintain First Aid and CPR training.
· Monitor staff schedule while looking to reduce overtime as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and use independent judgment.
· Ability to determine and prioritize departmental goals.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to keep confidential client and OH business information.
· Ability to utilize agency apps including Relias, Microsoft, Therap, and a variety of other software.
Supervisory Responsibility
· Interview and hire Direct Support Professionals; appraise work performance and provide job counsel.
· Ensure staff maintain compliance with CPR, First Aid, Rule 50, and other requirements.
· Ensure client's needs are being met daily inside and outside the home.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works mostly in an office environment that is quiet to moderately loud, depending on the work area. Some local, county, or state travel may be required, including overnight stays. The employee is required to sit, use hands, stand, stoop, walk, talk, and listen while performing duties. General office equipment including personal computers, scanners, copiers, faxes, desk- and smartphones, and software programs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing/vision. Must be able to assist mobility-impaired individuals.
Required Education and Experience
· Personal phone (home or cell).
· Valid driver’s license, 3 years driving experience and vehicle to use on company business.
